The Hermes Building
The Hermes Building, built in 1888, is an attractive building with an interesting history. It was originally constructed to be home to a horology institute where men and women learned the watch making trade. The structure, which is located on East Market Street, has since been renovated and is now occupied by Murphy, Chambers & Burges Architects and Big City Chophouse, a comfortable but upscale restaurant where Akronites can enjoy some of the area's finest cuisine.
