Akron's Historic District History
Where were your offices located before moving to Akron's historic district?
We're both Akron natives and we've worked together in kitchens all over Northeast Ohio. We leased our first kitchen together at Akron's Northside Grill and this is where the concept for Crave came to life.

Why did you make the move to Akron's historic district?
We saw the redevelopment going on in the historic district, and knew it would be the right place for a restaurant like Crave. There's a lot happening down here, and that's key to a restaurant's success. People can eat, shop, work and play in the historic district - with so many attractions, we're guaranteed increased foot traffic. We're happy that Crave is a part of it all

What benefits has your business enjoyed as a result of this move?
We both hoped for a restaurant that would be successful, but we never dreamed Crave would take off like this. Area businesses are choosing Crave for business meetings and employee functions. People from all walks of life that are living and working in Akron are coming in to visit regularly. Since we've opened, we've had a full house for nearly every lunch and dinner. That said, operating in the historic district has amazing benefits.

What is your vision for the future of your business?
We plan for Crave to be a part of this area for the long haul.   We are going to continually find ways to bring new and interesting things to our customers - regular specials, new menu items, and special events to name a few. And, we are really looking forward to watching this area continue to grow.
