Why did you make the move to Akron's historic district?
Akron was the natural choice for company's regional headquarters because the city represents the epicenter of our regional interests in Northeast Ohio. The Everett Building brings our history full circle - this was the original site of Second National Bank, the predecessor to our parent company, Second Bancorp. Plus, it's just a neat old building. I like the look down the street.

What benefits has your business enjoyed as a result of this move?
The flexibility of the site was a big selling point for us. We have been able to expand our offices to encompass the entire fifth floor. As business grows, we'll have the opportunity to take over new offices in the building.

Since our move, we've become more involved in the Akron community, sponsoring the University of Akron's athletic teams and other local projects. Increasing our involvement and exposure here has given us a competitive edge. We've attracted all kinds of regional customers as a result.
